| We believe the 2nd Amendment is 2nd in importance only to the First; and one way to show this is by hanging this ride bell, made from an actual 50 caliber round, on your motorcycle. Although there is a claim that they keep away evil spirits, the history of the bell that I first heard is they were used as the first motorcycle anti-theft alarm. Hidden somewhere under the old Harleys, a small copper bell would be heard if someone was rolling your bike away. This tradition has been honored for a century. This bell is manufactured with a copper clapper, and "real steel" hanger. Not everything on a motorcycle should be chromed! | Picture taken at the close of the Motorcycle Helmet Manufacturing Workshop in Sacramento, California on November 16, 2006 hosted by Bikers Of Lesser Tolerance. The Workshop was one of the many efforts to help pay for the Civil case filed against the CHP for refusing to have clear objective standards, or a list of legal helmets a consumer can use to guarantee he is buying a helmet the CHP will not claim is illegal. A recent update by one of the Co-Plaintiffs in the case reported we have raised in the neighborhood of $18,000. With the projected cost of the case being $50,000 we have to find $32,000 more before the goal is met. |
